This blog is being created by Bianca Pacheco as an assingment for my US History class. The theme is The American Revolution which was the disrupt, mainly political, that was going on during the second half of the 18th century. During this time, America was composed of 13 colonies which joined together against the British Empire and this led to Independence and the formation of United States of America.

Acts ans Their Reactions

Acts imposed by the Parliament were the major causes of the American Revolution. The Acts were:
  1. The Sugar Act
  2. Stamp Act
  3. Quartering Act of 1765
  4. Townshend Act
  5. Boston Massacre
  6. Tea Act
  7. Intolerable Acts (or Coercive Acts)
    • Boston Port Act
    • Massachusetts Government Act
    • Administration of Justice Act
    • Quartering Act of 1774
    • Quebec Act


These acts didn't passed unadvised and it had reactions. This were:
  1. Boston Non Importation Agreement
  2. Boston Massacre
  3. Boston Tea Party
  4. First Continental Congress
